Lens problems. It does not focus correctly, has soft focus or problems with back focus. Video camera is displaying a lens or focus error code such as C:32:60 or E:61:10.

Mechanical problems or going into an error code such as C:31:23 or C:31:22. The camcorder may not allow you to record and is displaying an error message saying “The tape is locked – check the tab”.

Will not load down with or without a tape. The camcorder may be displaying a C:32:11 error. Might be prompting you to "re-attach the power source".

Camcorder does not display a picture on the LCD screen or in the viewfinder when playing back a tape. You may have a blue screen, or lines through the picture. This problem will also occur when playing back on a monitor.
You may have a clogged or dirty video head.
If you own a head cleaner tape you can try running the head cleaner tape no more than 2 or 3 time, and only 10 seconds at a time. Make sure to follow the directions on the head cleaner tape carefully.
If you do not own a head cleaner tape, try running a new fresh tape through the camcorder from beginning to end.
Never use a Q-Tip a clean your video heads, it can destroy them. Never spray any cleaner inside the camcorder this can also cause severe damage.

There is a problem with the video camera when you hook it up to the computer. The computer will not communicate with the video camera via the firewire port connector or DV jack Connector. The camcorder will not capture.
We recommend first doing a hard reset to your camcorder. The reset button is located under your LCD screen where your playback controls are located. You will see a small, hole marked “reset”. Using a small pointed object such as a paper clip, press the button for 3-5 seconds. You will know that you have reset the camcorder, if it prompts you to set the clock.
Try hooking up the camcorder again. If the camcorder is still not working then the camcorder will need to be shipped in for repair. Fill out the our Repair Order Form, and ship the camcorder into us for a free estimate.
